I picked this one up after reading the blurbs on front and back. I enjoyed the book, but have to say that it's nothing like what I expected from the blurbs. I actually wonder if the blurb-er read the book at all, or only a brief summary? Anyway. This is a quiet book, well-written, keenly observes the relationships between family, friends, strangers.
