Solid 4, maybe 4.5.

Amazing writing, but have to read the remaining book to see if the author is making them with a template of meta-plot.

There are way more metaplots than lovers separated by war, seriously.

Read this after his other one, though this is in fact his first. This works better as there is a more sustained focus once it is developed. Not sure about the way he ends it though.
