Kill 6 Billion Demons

This book does itself no favors by being printed in smaller than letter paper sized. Each page is a lush complicated world with lots of hints about what is happening in this universe, and deserves to be printed bigger.

I often can't tell what the hell is going on but when I look at it longer or read it again it reveals more on each read.

I love that opacity, to be honest.

I was recommended this by a few people after talking about how much I enjoyed [b:Cosmoknights|43419730|Cosmoknights (Cosmoknights, #1)|Hannah Templer|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1546497784l/43419730.SX50.jpg|67465984], so I picked it up knowing almost nothing about it. Due to that I was surprised by the comparative coarseness, and definitely had some unfair comparisons lines up in my head. I think the idea of this story is interesting, and probably goes cool places past this first issue, but I found in almost impossible to get invested for some reason.

Not really my thing, though I can't quite put my finger on what it is that I don't like. The mythology is brilliant, though.
