What makes this a good book is the manner in which it is expressed. The material is readily available in lots of bird guides, but the nature of the way that is offered is often somewhat off putting. Here its more like Simon is sitting having a pint in the pub while he chats. A very good way of getting to grips with 50 birds.... and developing confidence.
