An intriguing character I recalled vaguely from my Literature degree - was on special offer from Amazon so got it.
Hard work, it gives a view of Restoration England that is 'no holds barred' but is exceedingly repetitive and seems to be very thorough to the point of padding.
Pleased to have finished it.
