Review of 'Night train to Lisbon' on 'Goodreads'

A wide divergence of opinion, from a great appreciation of the philosophical parts, to a disgust, coupled with the thought that anyone who got anything out of the book was self-delusional. I found it difficult to accept high-school students learning Latin, let alone ancient Greek or Hebrew. But in Europe, maybe they still do. And they read philosophy in high school, which we wouldn't dream of doing here.
