This is definitely a must-read graphic novel for teenage girls and women alike, and also men.
"Girlsplaining" deals with the facts of suppressed and shamed female sexuality and body awareness, in ways you might not have thought about it. Being a woman with female friends, I can attest to the accuracy of many of the feelings expressed in there, and also to the experiences and observations shared. These might be told in a humourous way, hilarious actually, but nonetheless are real for at least some, if not most women.
Many men and women are not aware of in how many ways ours is still a men's world. Maybe reading this graphic novel can help open some eyes to a little bit of it.
Also, the artwork is adorable - though one might debate the colour-choice (which might be ironic).
