Excellent summary of the true nature of the Christian faith: If it doesn't sound like good news, it's not the gospel. This is probably the best book I know right now to give someone who wants to know what Christianity is all about.

Zahnd’s response to the Puritan and Calvinist view of a wrathful God. He paints with broad strokes, but his overall argument is compelling. If you’ve listened to his sermons over the past couple years this content will sound very familiar.
