I've heard a lot of people comparing this to Lord of the Flies. I can see why: you have a bunch of girls who get plane-wrecked on an apparently deserted island. But that's where I start seeing a lot of disconnects, making me not understand this comparison; the novel is much more reminiscent of the TV series "Lost," honestly.
First things first, I found this book difficult to read. Perhaps, if I could have found a more accessible version, it would've been easier to get through it. The text was really cramped and the shifts in fonts was hard for me.
