Liam can't wait to see the football match at Croke Park, despite the recent troubles. But the game has barely begun before the first shot rings out and his excitement turns to terror. Soldiers shooting, machine guns firing, people screaming....

How will Liam make it out of the stadium alive? And if he does, is there anywhere safe left to go?

I like the concept, but the execution is rubbish.

This is a short book about Ireland's Bloody Sunday.

The story is half-decent, though not incredibly well-written. It's definitely useful for, perhaps, a history unit on this topic or should you need a quick-to-get-through book for historical fiction.

The prologue is pointless, as it's a complete retelling of some of the chapters (so it would've been better if that wasn't included at all). It's almost like an afterthought, to be honest.
