I bought the first three books in a sale for about 2 Euro, thinking I'm getting a complete trilogy. I thought the first book was a bit trashy, although also quite entertaining. The series is a weird mix of Jack Reacher meets the A-Team meets flintlock fantasy. I kept on reading and found that it is hard to put the books down. To my pleasant surprise I found out that there are eight full books and some novellas in this series. I will definitely make my way through the books because while this is definitely not high literature it is an fun waste of time.
