nerd teacher [books] reviewed Ajin: Demi-Human, Vol. 2 by Gamon Sakurai (Ajin: Demi-Human, #2)
Similar issues as the first.

This volume had the same issues as the last: It was confusing and suffered from a lack of expository details. Who are these two other demi-human men? What is their purpose? Why aren't there any hints of this purpose? It's like wilful obfuscation to the point of frustration, and that's not entirely my style; I like clues for what's happening next and for character motivation. This is basically just hiding all the information, as if the writer doesn't really know what they're planning to do.
