Enthralled

I was pulled into the story from word one and walked in Melinda's shoes as the words gave me visuals, sounds, and scents. I couldn't stop reading and finished in one day. I've never been assaulted but I have been deeply depressed and I related to some of what Melinda went through. A stunning story. Well told. I would recommend for anyone of any age or gender.

I've read Speak at some points in my life where I needed a story like this, and I'm truly in awe of the work that Emily Carroll did to transform Speak into an even stronger story.
