This new series started off in a way that had my skeptical hackles up. Let’s take a seemingly hard sci-fi comic and turn it into fantasy, same universe, just give it a lot of magic and vampires and stuff... but with this volume they’ve merged it back into the descender story and universe in a big way, and I’m finally all in (again). Can’t wait for the next volume.
