Review of 'The wild truth' on 'Goodreads'

Interesting backstory by the sister of Chris McCandless of "Into the Wild," but includes too much detail on her life and history (who cares?). The tone is also so bitter that it makes me wonder how much of her account is exaggerated/untrue. But if you were left wanting more after reading "Into the Wild," it provides some missing pieces to the puzzle of Chris' character, and provides a voyeuristic look into the lives of two troubled, intertwined families with an abusive father at their center.
