A comprehensive discussion of impeachment, from its basis in English law, to the debate on whether and how it fit in with the U.S. Constitution, to its use (and abuse) throughout American history, to its entanglement in modern hyperpartisanship, this book makes for sobering reading, especially after articles of impeachment against Trump have passed the House.
