Quite a few lessons to be learned beyond just being interesting

This took me forever to read. Probably my first book that's explicitly a "history book" since... ever? The only issue I had with the book as such was the proofreading. I think both authors are native German? In any case I spotted quite a few simple mistakes, some of which I recognize in myself. So nothing that would stop me from recommending the book, but I hope they can be addressed in a future edition.

I really enjoyed it, it was just a bit hard to get to. I really don't have the habit of picking up history books, so I'd leave it lying for weeks at a time, then pick it up and wonder why it took me so long. Albania is a fascinating country with a history that has so many lessons to teach. Well worth a read!
