I loved it.
Obviously, like the majority out there I've bought it after I have seen the Ford Vs Ferrari movie.
I find it spectacular not only because I simply grew up watching F1 and dreaming of getting into autosport, the book is just very well put. All the facts are seeminglessly sewn into the story line so you don't notice yourself being lead.
I have read Enzo's book, the guy was vane as fuck and having a chance to put his little contribution to this world into the bigger puzzle was quite valuable.

Engineering won over vanity and pure bravado. Bravo!

Very interesting and well-written account of the rivalry between Ford and Ferrari to build the fastest sports car. What's disturbing, though, is the high number of deaths that result for this need for speed. Even spectators are killed, but everyone is just fixated on winning the race. Enzo Ferrari was definitely an anti-hero in my eyes - devoted to his sons, his country, and his cars, but perfectly willing to sacrifice the lives of his drivers to get what he wanted.

Outstanding history of racing as a way to market consumer vehicles, especially Ford's foresight in embracing it, and its perennial challenge from Ferrari. Interesting anecdotes, a good sense of history and context. Well written.
