Cash: The Autobiography is a 1997 autobiography of Johnny Cash, country musician, written twenty years after his first autobiography, Man in Black. Cash co-wrote this book with Patrick Carr. Cash's autobiographies were the basis for the biopic Walk the Line in 2005.

A great book coming from a great artist. The man's flawed, no doubt, but I appreciate his candid approach to past failings. Parts of it resonate with me on a personal level, and what an emotional coaster ride it has been: grief, disbelief, envy, humor. All tastefully wrapped in one book.
