я розумію, чому книжки гокінга такі популярні... але не розумію іншого: невже справді нема кращих, цікавіших, повніших і «читабельніше» написаних науково-популярних книжок в цій царині? гхм.

A history of quest towards the greatest achievement of science that human beings can think of at the meantime. For such a purpose, it could have been better.
Quantum theories, black holes, general relativity, the uncertainty principle, the arrows of time. It’s like finding that perfect Harribo bag with all the right jelly beans, taking it home and slowly devouring it disregarding your temporomandibular joint disorder. And Hawking’s perfectly timed similes are the icing on the cake. That about sums it up for this book. Also, this revelation binding together the second law of thermodynamics with our concept of time (‘real time’ that is):
“Disorder increases with time because we measure time in the direction in which disorder increases.”
