First season of #TheExpanse aired 9 years ago on Syfy... and I was watching it right just as the first season came to an end, after reading an article titled "the best #scifi show nobody is watching". This show, and the novels it is based on, are probably the best sci-fi of the last decade.

Ich will ja nicht petzen, aber das im Buch ist jetzt doch was anderes als im Film. Ganz anders, und ich mag es. Jetzt bin ich nur gespannt, wie man das auflöst. Irgend wie sollten Handlung von Buch und Film ja dann doch in dieselbe Richtung gehen. #TheExpanse #Buch #Bookwyrm

So langsam merkt man das der Roman und die Serie nicht ganz übereinstimmen. Das macht für mich auch gar keinen Unterschied, ich kann das im Kopf abstrahieren und trotzdem beides genießen. Und das mache ich auch mit Band 3, genießen. Eine tolle und spannende Welt ist da erschaffen worden und das Buch lässt manche Szenen noch plastischer wirken #Bücher #Buch #TheExpanse #Bookwyrm

The Expanse: Dragon Tooth: This is a 12-issue miniseries that takes place in the TV show continuity, in the time after the series finale. In a way, it serves as a bit of a narrative bridge between how the show ended and where, perhaps, it could have picked up with an adaptation of the final trilogy of books. The story is told in 3 volumes, each 4 issues long. I really enjoyed the story, especially the middle arc. Recommended! #theexpanse #books

@bruno Most of those other books are novellas, and they are all in the "Memory's Legion" collection. So if you get the nine novels plus Memory's Legion, you've got everything in 10 volumes.

Those "Expanse Origins" books are graphic novels, so I'm not sure what those would be like on an audio bookshelf!

Ich habe den Roman abgeschlossen und wie erwarten, hat er mir sehr gut gefallen. Vieles hat mich in die Serie eintauchen lassen und die Abweichungen zu Filmserie, sind aus meiner Sicht, dramaturgisch erklärbar.

Ich bin immer noch begeistert, von der Geschichte und bisher sind die Abweichungen zur Serie sehr gering und fallen alle sicher unter Drehbuch und Dramaturgie.

Auch wenn ich fast mit dem zweiten Buch durch bin, es hat sich gelohnt. Danke @Tealk@rollenspiel.social
