Oh hay, did I mention Liz Kloczkowski is working on a book about building the Enterprise-D bridge?
You should ask Paramount to get on publishing it :)

Man, I wish I could have gotten the Voyager-A into 3rd season of Picard :)
(Mostly because I want to stare a the model and fly around it.)
When I watched #StarTrekProdigy's "Ouroboros II"⬇️ I was elated to see that Dr. Crusher's Cor Caroli V award (from #StarTrekPicard's "The Next Generation"⬇️) was seen in her flat. As research assistant, I suggested that award ➡️ and I'm mighty proud that I thus contributed in a tiny way to Prodigy as well!😊

I love all those sweater metaphores (sweaterphores?) Wesley uses in #StarTrekProdigy's "The Devourer of All Things I" @jennifermuro! :-) It is also wonderful how a connection to #StarTrekPicard's "Farewell" is established, using Wesley's very similar words. 😊
Content warning Star Trek Picard s1e7 Nepenthe
I just re-watched Nepenthe because I'm gradually watching the Picard series with my stepfather (who's not much younger than Patrick Stewart, a good match to appreciating the show). I just love this episode. I love how Picard takes Soji when they're on the run to a place with the most wholesome, caring, emotionally intelligent people there could be. I love watching Kestra interact with Soji: Kestra quickly starting to love this fascinating semi-big-sister. That speech Kestra gives Soji at the end about trusting someone to help you through bad times: I guess I would expect any kid of Deanna's to have a lot of emotional intelligence, so this degree of wisdom from a pre-teen doesn't seem implausible at all. Going to this beautiful place and spending time with Kestra was probably about the best thing that could have happened to Soji at that point. I also liked how Will and Deanna have this incredibly beautiful log cabin/log mansion in the woods, but it still has shields and cloak scanning and everything. I loved how Will and Deanna interacted as a long-married couple. And I love that everybody is calling Picard on being arrogant, overconfident, and insensitive, and I loved that he was showing emotional intelligence toward Deanna in the conversation about her son. (The reason I like this is that he wasn't exactly known for emotional intelligence in TNG. Nice to see he's grown on that.) The only thing I don't love about this episode is Hugh getting killed. That was just too sad. #StarTrek #StarTrekPicard
I'll finally get to wear this outrageous shirt that @DaveBlass sent me for my work on #StarTrekPicard season 2+3 at #FedCon. Perfect opportunity! 🖖
If you see me in it, say Hi! :-)
Big thanks to everyone who let me know that Saru's couch in #StarTrekDiscovery's "Jinaal", which also appeared in Sneed's abode in #StarTrekPicard's "Disengage", is actually a Terrazza sofa by Ubald Klug, also appearing on #DoctorWho in "Robots of Death" + "Timelash". :-)
Slug-o-Cola really must taste delicious! After having been introduced in #StarTrekDS9's "Profit and Lace"↘️⬇️, it first re-appeared in #StarTrekPicard's "Disengage"⬆️↗️, then in #StarTrekLowerDecks' "Parth Ferengi's Heart Place"↖️ and now in #StarTrekDiscovery's "Jinaal"↙️. 👌👌
Content warning Spoilers, Star Trek: Picard
Content warning Possible spoilers for David Mack's "Star Trek: Picard: Firewall". I don't say anything too specific, and nothing that I would call plot relevant, but some people might still count that as spoilers. Hence this CW.
I love visualising Seven in a mosh pit. LOVE IT! I love how several Trek shows are woven into this book. I love seeing some familiar characters of those shows. I love the scenes between Janeway and Seven. They truly are like mother and daughter. I love seeing Seven finding a purpose, a reason to carry on. I love seeing Seven learn and grow as a human. I love getting to know the Rangers, both as a whole and the individuals we meet. At the beginning of season 3 of Picard we shortly meet the Rangers and I didn't like how they were portrayed there, but after this book it makes sense now. Thank you, Mr. Mack for that.
The ending... what can I say without spoiling anything? Let's just say if you have seen the show you know what's going to come. [insert appropriate emoji]
January LaVoy is the queen of audio book narration and making characters sound like their actors. Thank you, Ms. LaVoy!

Monotanium, as present on the Borg cube in #StarTrekProdigy's "Let Sleeping Borg Lie"⬆️, is the signature Hirogen material (#StarTrekVOY's "Hunters"⬅️, "Prey"➡️, "Retrospect"↙️, "Flesh and Blood"↘️). Now, remember the Hirogen xB on the Artifact in #StarTrekPicard's "Nepenthe"?🤔
Watching #StarTrekTNG's "Darmok" for the first time in ages and I'm happy because I know I first learnt about the Gilgamesh Epos from this episode. Then I remember I named the USS Gilgamesh and USS Enkidu in #StarTrekPicard season 2 and 3 and now I have this full circle moment and feel might warm and fuzzy! 😊
