I was skeptical to read this, because of the Instagram hype it has received, but when my friend bought and read it, and actually disliked the last section, that pushed me to read it to see what she was talking about.

All in all, I really liked it. I love free verse, free form poetry, especially when a book of poems tells a story in some way. This book is smart, powerful, and feminist in an empowering (not hateful or hurtful) way. My favourite section was definitely the second one, but I do think it was all quite good. I would have given it a 4.5/5 if that was an option here!

Cute and fun, but nothing in depth or new here. Cool if you need to jog your memory on something from the movie, though, or if you missed a detail maybe.

Still loved this book on my second read through nearly a decade later. It will never be classic literature, but it is an exciting, romantic, character driven vampire series.

Review of 'Animal Farm George Orwell' on 'Goodreads'

Such a deep, dark look at politics, revolutions, and life. I didn't expect it to be so emotional or depressing and put off reading it for years (never read or studied it in highschool, either), but I'm glad I've read it now.

Review of 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' on 'Goodreads'

it was shorter and more condensed and obviously a different medium than the other Harry Potter books, but this was so much better than I hoped!

I was worried that the play style would get in the way of the readability, but the stage directions are so great (and sometimes funny) that it wasn't much different from reading a novel for me. Sure it's shorter, and there are elements in it that are surely better on stage than on the page, but I loved this book. I loved the new taste of the Wizarding world, a peek into the Trio's lives years down the line, and the look at some of the original gang's children.

It's a condensed nostalgia hit with substance of its own, and I'm so happy JK allowed us to visit that world again. I'd love to see the stage production, and I also can't wait for …
