Howards End is story shedding light on social conventions, codes of conduct and relationships in turn-of-the-century England. A strong-willed and intelligent woman refuses to allow the pretensions of her husband's smug English family to ruin her life. It was for free on Shabd.in so I gave it a read and it was definitely worth it.

"The moment you recognize what is beautiful in this world, you stop being a slave."

I read this book on shabd.in and gave this a read and this was definitely an interesting read. One of the strengths of The White Tiger is its unflinching portrayal of the stark divide between the rich and poor in India. it skillfully weaves together elements of social critique, dark humor, and a compelling narrative to shed light on the harsh realities faced by those at the bottom of the socio-economic ladder.

Honest review

The book occupies a peculiar spot between fiction and non-fiction. The book features individuals, it even drives home a powerful point about individual engagement but it is not focused on personal stories. This book aims to be a draw-you-in page turner built on a foundation of current events and present-day science, extrapolated into a claustrophobic tale of human survival in a hostile environment and it does succeed in this. I enjoyed it quite a lot and do sincerely believe that it should be available on more platforms like Shabd.in so that others can read it too.

"If you expect nothing from somebody you are never disappointed." So I came across this book by pure chance on one of the websites I frequent shabd.in and gave it a read and and i am glad i did so. The story itself is so poignantly written that it really evokes strong emotions in you. Sylvia Plath's writing is brutally honest and raw. She doesn't shy away from portraying the challenges and complexities of mental illness.
