The writing was very apt for the story, it was flowing like a true fairytale, and I felt very close to our main character Sorcha, she is brave,and went through so much that I think it was a lot for a girl between the age of 12 and 15, she could have been aged up a bit... such trauma.. (check the trigger warnings if you are sensible to some).

The love between siblings shone throughout the book, there is also a romance subplot that ate and gave, (but once again she's too young for me) still, i loved the "nature" setting and ambience of the story and I will check out book 2^^
