Very easy to read, the font is biiig haha, it did not blow my mind but Rebecca Schaeffer always have interesting concepts and characters (quite a different and morally grey mc, but then a lot of the people in this city are), the subjects matters in this are "in your face" and not subtle enough for me, but im intrigued to see how she will conclude her duology in September^^

Amazing show stopping never seen before, fave Chloe Gong book, loved the grungy cramped city setting, the action scenes, the characters, I would have finished it sooner had I have the time lol, now i have to wait for the sequel and i dont like it here

Very good romance book with a mystery subplot, i loved the small town setting and the characters, they felt developped and I rooted for them separately and together^^ its fun that the other novels are following a member of the Eden's family each

I thought i did not read enough summer books^^ nice romance about a married couple finding their way towards each other, written by a couple too haha

Now, dont get me wrong, I totally understand if people find these characters annoying to follow, i find them annoying too haha but also interesting, and entertaining, the paperback is also very floppy and fun to read lol, I did not get obsessed or the butterflies reading though, but the author knows how to keep you on your toes^

Vanessa Len really did something here, I loved how interesting and surprising it was during the whole book, the story feels so thought out as well as the characters, and it being a debut and YA makes me want to give a 5 stars, even if its more of a 4.5, I can't wait to read the sequel

This second book was a good time, as much as the first book, and it wrapped everything up well, easy to read, not that original but still well done, im interested to see what this author will do next in the fantasy genre

Honestly not bad at all, i enjoy the writing and i can see why the (big) romance part would be a hit, they good scenes and dialogues but i just didnt vibe with it and since most of the book is the romance i did end up feeling bored unfortunately plus this was soooo long

Oh the YA fantasy girlies will love this one, it was kinda generic and a little in your face at times, but it was also very fun and easy to read, it gave what it had to give, and it was well done by the author, want to read book 2 now haha

Easy to read and entertaining, but I liked the idea more than the execution, mystery + fantasy + historical romance that never comitted to any of the genres enough, i didnt hate it at all, i was surprised at the end, but all along i didnt really care for the characters and romance^^ love the covers though lol

I loved this romance, the writing was thoughtful and romantic, the characters are interesting and wholesome, Daniel was sooooo cute it should be forbidden, I love how the "drama" part of the relationship was handled, it felt very natural and the book was also very easy to read, I loved the small town setting

4.5 rounded up, because I love what this debut author did, the range of her writing was amazing for the story, we got complex plot and characters, and relationships, namely btw Silvia my girlie, and Arin, I loved their dynamic, Sara Hashem really served with this

Some stories I liked, but the longer ones were not exciting or anything to me, so I felt like it dragged a little, my favorite one was the first about time travel in Cairo^^
