I just reread this book out loud with my neice (switching off every two pages) after reading it on my own maybe three times before. There are various points that I cried this time. It's timeless in the sense that nothing has really materially gotten better since the lectures and the book in the past 24 years. I don't remember when I first picked this book up but I do believe it is one of the most important books that I have read in my life.
