What is to be done?
5 stars
This is a blueprint to a modern and more sincere workers’ revolution, or more specifically the economic framework for one. I especially appreciated the definition of state capitalism and context I did not have there before.
Bede finished reading Democracy at Work by Richard D. Wolff
This is such an activating and inspiring book! I barely made it through all the financial history, but I obviously understand how necessary that was for what Wolff was explaining. This is very much a blueprint for a modern and more effective workers revolution that is fit to be read both by those familiar with anti-capitalist theory and history, and those who are new to the movement.
I’m a bit of a slow reader, so it likely won’t take others nearly as long!

I think this piece accomplished everything it set out to accomplish. It makes an ancient, dense text more digestible and understandable for the modern worker. Brilliant!
