I have complicated feelings about this book. On one hand, I am glad I read Best Friends Exorcism first, because I might not have continued with this author had this been my first book. It was a powerful book, and the ending was extremely so... but I can't say that I necessarily think it is the sort of book that I regularly want to read. This was an interesting dive into a lot of information that I already knew, but it was nice seeing it laid out in a single narrative. I felt some feelings as it talked about events that I intimately saw from the lens of a player, blogger, and general gaming pundit. Some truly gross episodes are cataloged, and there is a heck of a lot of hubris. I miss feeling damaged joy towards Blizzard games.
