David Crystal: Oxford illustrated Shakespeare dictionary (2015) 4 stars

The Oxford Illustrated Shakespeare Dictionary is the first of its kind, a brand new illustrated …

Great resource to help read Shakespeare. Not comprehensive, but certainly Shakespeare-newb friendly.

I think this is a great resource (along with "Shakespeare's Words") to have with you while reading Shakespeare. I liked it because a lot of the illustrations regard weaponry, clothing, and other very-visual terms that are out of date today, so it let me get a better picture of what the setting and characters would look like for many of these plays.

Great for junior high and high school readers, or people who want a picture in a hurry or haven't had much chance to visually experience Shakespeare. Very very helpful.
