This autobiography shocked me with how well-written, witty, and insightful it was.

Whether you like plants or not, you’ll be drawn in by the awesome tales of survival and reproduction told in this book. From seeds being rocketed away in hopes of birthing the new generation, to the literal chemical warfare plants engage in to protect themselves from herbivory and kill competition, there’s much to learn and discover about an oft forgotten form of life.

Interesting Read

Definitely an interesting book. It explores how our biology has shaped and shaped our future, and a little bit at the end about how we’ve shaped it in turn. I don’t really care for the computer analogies for biology, but it is still a good book to pick up.
