A lot of this advice is geared towards people a few years younger than me (millenials), so eventhough Remit's advice on paying off student debts and getting married didn't apply I found a lot of useful - remembering to max you credit card available limit, calling to waive fees, owning a home and car for 10 years, and using dollar cost averaging to buy ETFs is all good advice.

I'm glad he's honest enough to say that no one tracks their spending, although I know one person who claims to. And if you want to spend $5k year on shoes that might be ok.
