A fun romp in the city of Ankh

Enjoyed the interweaving of character personalities and roles in this one. Ahead of his time politically as usual without being a political book. A who-dunnit that keeps you guessing.

Gripping tradgedy
4 stars
An account, based on contemporary records of a sealing disaster off Newfoundland. A combination of human and natural factors lead up to the disaster which is portrayed in all its horror. A book filled with the worst of humanity and the best, which makes for a gripping read, if rather stressful! Also features themes of capitalism, unionisation and the beginnings of change.
