While this book is the first in a series, it totally works as a stand-alone. Irene, an agent of the secret organization known as the Library, is sent on a mission to retrieve a rare book. She's also assigned a library trainee to mentor, so she hopes this mission will be an easy one. She could hardly be more wrong.
