My favorite middle-grade series. Percy Jackson is generally a well-done series, a creative and humorous use of Greek myths and an amazing adventure. The first 2 books feel formulaic, but it starts to mix itself up in the third one, and the fourth and fifth continue that. It can be enjoyed by middle schoolers and adults alike. I'd highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys humor, myths & folklore, and action adventure.
