More like 2.75, but I'm rounding up. This was mostly a case of me realizing I wasn't the intended audience for the book. I set it down for probably 3 months out of pure boredom, but the end redeemed it a little. The characters' plights were not interesting to me, though I appreciated the overall lack of melodrama (or at least it was better written melodrama?). Overall, I'm not a fan of this author. Oh well. At least I can say that now.
