Except it seems that Damian's secrets are not so secret, after all. When he ends up back where he started, in a low-down desert town that's a dead end for most, too many people know too much about him.

I enjoyed the slow set-up, the gradual reveal of what was really going on, and the slow burn romance, as well. The only thing that's not slow is the action - and that's constant, fast-paced and relentless.

Great read. Almost made me late for work.
