First book in a new (and long!) series by Jocelynn Drake.

The Variks are an amazing Vampire clan. The four brothers find love one after the other, with Marcus being the first. And yes, in this series, the Variks are the good guys.

I did enjoy this book, even though Ethan takes a while to come to his senses and work through his trauma and guilt. Definitely worth a read, as is the entire series.

What I love best is that the relationships in these books are always caring and respectful. There's no manipulation, no "bullying", no "earning love" or other such nonsense (although there is a lot of loving bickering between the brothers). These characters meet through adventure and build a relationship through their experiences. And that's perfect for me.
