Good so far. Reminds me of Infinite Noise but they both take place in HS and involve superpowers.

Ended up giving up on this one. The main character was too low self esteem and the best friends seemed very two dimensional. As if they only exist to help the main character with his love life and otherwise don't seem to do much of anything else.
