Lundy Bancroft: Why Does He Do That? (2003)

There is some really great stuff in here but I am hung up on the fact that he keeps repeating that only 1% of abusers are actually psychopaths and I am just flabbergasted at this. No dude. Just about every single one is a psychopath. It's actually the reverse where a small minority may not meet that criteria. Granted this book is very old but I still feel like even current research is not great about this. Men are scary. In my opinion only a small minority of them are safe to be around. I am one of those women who will choose the bear. I don't know how to look at the world any different way. This is the knowledge the world has provided for me.

Almost Perfect

I was so glad when Luthe came along. I don't get Tor. He's her cousin. If he was not her cousin I would say this book is perfect. I respect what she did with the love triangle. I respect it. Some really awesome imagary of battling with dragons. Luthe is captivating. I would have enjoyed another book about him and Aerin.

I think this is my favorite book

I did not want to do anything but sit and read this book non stop until the end and I know that I love it so much I will want to re read it someday. I have rarely felt this way about a book.
