George Orwell: Animal Farm (1999, Penguin Publishing Group)

Calling it a masterpiece would be an understatement

Animal farm is, hands down, one of the best books I've ever read.

Being the first book Orwell wrote explicitly with politics in mind, it's amazing how each animal represents a collective of our society. And since it's written like a fable, it's really easy to understand and short despite the dephs of it's messages.

I highly recommend this book to anyone, regardless if they want to read about a satiric view of an Stalinist govenship or a simple dystopian story.
