I read this at the recommendation of our sixth grade students. It is a good book to base a library treasure hunt on and it is cute and recommended for fairy tale lovers. It lacks depth and diversity, there were a few parts that struck me as a bit sexist/predictable and/or silly. But for the 9 to 11 crowd, yes.
