@LizAndra@books.theunseen.city The stories are nicely written. But as the author states, this book will spoil the duology if you haven't read them yet, apart from the initial prequel ones covering the story of Chang-e and Houyi.

The middle ones cover the same ground as the duology, but from the viewpoint of different people. The last one is probably the icing on the cake, as it offers a closure with the tale of Xingyin and Wenzhi.
