I don't like this book....I hate the love triangle, the main character is quite annoying, one of the love interests is a horrible person and is romanticized because he has trauma, and I hate to admit this but the only slightly bearable character is Kenji. This book is a never ending roller coaster but yet, no matter how bad the story, plot, and characters are the writing is still so unique and because at times this book still managed to make me truly care about its characters i'll give it three stars.

I don't know... it did a very good job of demonstrating what being queer means to people and how its different for EVERY person but there was some small things that confused me a bit though, it was just clearly the writer trying to write more from her personal experience. There was also some things about different types of queer people that could be viewed as slightly insensitive. This just wasn't for me but it was still very interesting to read through Imogens journey.

I understand this book may not be for everyone. The POV's switch between 3 different people and the chapters are very short and jump around the story's timeline. But that aside I really love this book. The story is meaningful and has a beautiful way of showing how grief can change people of different ages in so many ways. And for me the characters are the best part. No one is truly good and it makes them so much more well rounded and and easy to relate to. Your not rooting for certain characters most of the time your rooting for their chance to change and grow which is what we need to do in our own lives. And the cover is just absolutely beautiful:)
