I loved it, I love this series. My only complaint is that the pacing was off in this one - Lee is usually so masterful at pacing. This felt a little like it should have been two novels instead of one, and a number of scenes could have been more powerful if given some more room to breath. There weren’t as many musings on the juxtaposition of colors or the reflections in a cat’s eye and I missed them. I would have loved to see those things through Jedao’s strange eyes.

But a beautiful wrap up nonetheless, I feel like we’ve seen an end to the current conflict with some seeds of the next. We’ve learned so much about moths and servitors and their potential. I hear whispers about another book in the series? I hope that’s true.
