This book is not quite as good as the first novel in the trilogy, although it is a good read. It simply takes a bit too long in getting to the juicy parts.
The character development in the mid-section of this trilogy is very interesting. To the author's credit this book ends in a manner that makes the final installment of the trilogy most enticing.
