This was a fun and, dare I say, magical adventure. The characters are interesting and somewhat twisted. The tale winds around itself a couple of times building to an interesting denouement. I class the novel as being in a somewhat more adult Harry Potter 'class'. It will be interesting to see where the Magicians journey goes. Thus far, it has been an entertaining ride. I will most certainly try the second novel in this series.
