Col. Hadfield does an excellent job describing both what was like and what it took to be an astronaut. His writing is definitely maintains a sense of pragmatic wonder that is quite compelling. If you ever dreamed of (but didn't) becoming an astronaut; I'd highly recommend reading this book.
