OMG, Jess is that type of child that has a parent wondering with their head in their hands, "where oh where did I go wrong?" While reading I was thinking why won't you shut up, to what were you thinking, to someone lock her away for her own safety! Onia Fox did a great job of taking you on a wild ride of Jess's life. It starts off bad with her losing her job and her long time boyfriend Chris. You think that would be a wake up call right because she starts making a list of what she wants to do and how she needs to find herself. Well, um, no no no, that so does not happen!

From the first snappy moment Rebecca Fairnie the narrator for this …

OMG, I just have no words for some of the characters in this story. Right from the beginning you have Iris talk about using AI to help her write a book. Um, my thought was the same as Geneva's, are you serious? Then you have George wanting to or trying to write poems about the strangest things. A book that you must read as well and see what head shaking, eye rolling moments catches your attention! The murderer may surprise you. I didn't see it coming.

Now the narrator Kathleen Strecker does a good job at reading this book. I'm not sure if it it was meant or not, but whenever she reads Georgina it has a petulant childlike tone which is funny because it's what i picture …

The world as we know it is falling apart and needs to be controled and what better way to do that than through a project created in secret, the Utopia Project where Everyone Must Die! The world must be reborn and everyone controled, no self, no I, just we and the Elders call the says who lives or who dies. But, not all goes as planned! A group of friends survives and now the horror begins!

The title alone caught my attention first, the Utopia Project, Everyone Mut Die! Action is definitely what you will get throughout this story and the narrator Bill Spadea does a great job of taking you through that action from beginning to end. When he describes some of the bodies that the friends come across he has the right tone to make you see what they see. So hold on to your stomach! It is …

OMG, what a story! I definitely recommend having a box or two of tissues available when reading this book. It will bring you to tears during several occasions. There is the atraction between Rick and Alice that you will notice and hopes that maybe it will go somewhere, but knowing that due to the different lifestyles it won't. cami is such a strong little girl that will have you laughing and wanting to jump through the book to protect her as well and strangle those that looked the other way while she was being abused. Now for me I wished that I could have reached through the book when the guys decided it was ok to just back away from Cami without a word quickly instead of slow and easy. Yes, their reasoning for wanting to do so made some sense, but it could have been handled better than how …

Review of 'Louisiana Wind' on 'Goodreads'

Whew, what I must poit out right away is for those that listen to the audible version of this book Tom Lennon the narrator does a really good job. He has the perfect campfire tone for telling a story. The kind that holds your attention and if you're not careful it could also put you to sleep. Ha, hopefully Tom doesn't see that as a bad thing because it's not. It's that low, steady cadence that does the trick of relaxing your mind and making you focus while trying to put you to sleep at the same time.

History is a topic that I enjoy reading about and Louisiana Wind is a great historical that's short enough to get in all the little details, kept me interested and encouraging to see what the other stories are all about.

For those that are totally blind and that love listening to books, this story is on audible and other audiobook locations.

Walking to Hell is book one in The Story of a Confederate Soldier series and I absolutely enjoyed reading this book. Zeke takes you on a trip down memory lane where it will have you laughing one moment such as in the time when zeke and his friend William went after a bear then shaking your head the next. when you get to the moments as you see what the young men get into trying to learn to be a soldier. I absolutely can't wait to read the next story.

lol, Jim Patton does a great job of narrating this book. He will keep you listening from beginning to end with the snutty tone of a soldier that has way too much stuff, to the Sergeant Major you …

It took me a little while to get into the story. Delia who like to claim she never makes a fuss really does make a fuss when she saw it was important to her sense of right and wrong despite what others told her. However, she didn't make a fuss when it came to her and what she really wanted, at least not in the beginning. I'm hoping in the next book Delia does try to work on being a little mroe relaxed.

Coming soon!

Warning, this story does jump back and forth in time.

K. Lucas did a great job of holding my attention during this story. A couple of things made it so I couldn't give top marks. One being, what was the reason Charley wasn't available when Paisley needed him? Another is too quickly it became predictable on what was about to happen at certain times during the story. And the ending, um, well, that definitely left me scratching my head and still trying to figure that one out.

Kimberly Gordon, Reginald Fowl: Cocky Doodle Doo (Paperback, 2020, ByDand Publishing) 5 stars

Review of 'Cocky Doodle Doo' on 'Goodreads'

5 stars

This first book in the Cocky Doodle Doo series, funny enough called, Cocky Doodle Doo was not too bad. It may not be one good for really young children, but I think it does a great job of teaching about bullying and how to work together. The animals working together to defeat their bully gives Maggie the strength or courage to deal with hers.

Lawrence Locke does a great job of bringing the different characters to life for you. Lol, although I not too sure about the singing that was attempted. I wasn't sure if I wanted to laugh or cover my ears or maybe both!
