Review of 'High Fidelity' on 'Storygraph'

5 stars

This is one of those books that everyone has read without even knowing who recommended it to them. Well, I do: some of my friends were so disappointed I still hadn't read it a few years after it had become a sensation that they decided to just give it to me as a present.

It's really good, I have to say, though I didn't find it quite as funny as I had been told. The story is one of an unhappy man in a rut trying to find happiness without changing his ways. The ending is quite open.
